Free Tickets to Spreading Christmas Beer!

This informal social gathering with YYCBeers, Tool Shed Brewing Company and Last Best Brewing & Distilling will take place on Wednesday December 17th. Pig & Duke owner Stephen Lowden will be hosting the event along with his bar manager Ryan Matheson. Brewery reps will also be on hand to talk about their beer and to answer any questions you have as well. You can look forward to three beers from each brewery to pair up with some of Chef Evan Robertson’s delicious food.

Alberta Breweries Serving Up Pints

This is huge news and other start-ups in the province will no doubt be just as thrilled with this news. In a memo to Class E licensees (manufacturers) the AGLC announces that they may now obtain a Class B (Tourist Facility) Licence allowing them to serve their own products in the brewery.
