It pretty difficult to be immersed into the brewing culture and not want to dive even further into it. After years of reading, writing, researching, touring, visiting several countries, trying thousands of beers and even winning a couple of home brewing medals – the passion has taken over
The horrible beauty of home brewing is that it gives you several weeks to reflect on everything you did wrong and wonder if it will ultimately ruin your day sometime next month.
Pig & Duke’s Seasons Eatings & Christmas Beer is a holiday celebration that will include food provided by both Pig & Duke chefs Evan & Dan. And it wouldn’t be a party without some beer; so the guys over at Tool Shed Brewing Company are bring along three casks to help out. The casks will be S’Mores Red Rage, Cranberry People Skills and their brand new Stout with Root Beer Spices. The food and casks are included in your $20 ticket. Once the casks are kicked there will be two kegs of Tool Shed on for $4 a pint!
So come out and drink some beer, have fun and help Give A Mile with their Christmas Campaign. We are happy to be part of Give A Mile’s goal to give 25 flights to connect loved ones dealing with palliative/life threatening illness this holiday season.
Expect all the antics synonymous with this infamous beer festival. Join Steam Whistle and raise your stein and Prosit! as the party starts with an official keg tapping followed by plenty of celebrating, beer drinking, traditional German dancing and entertainment.
The journey will begin with a store-bought brewing kit. I know, you think those kits are a rip-off and an insult to decent beer everywhere. But mine is different. Mine was purchased over eight years ago from a big box store
